Louise Ridley is an award-winning freelance journalist with 11 years of experience at digital and print publications. She was formerly longform and special projects editor at BuzzFeed News and special projects editor at HuffPost UK, and has also worked at BBC Worldwide, The i, The Pool, The Evening Standard and Campaign magazine. Work she edited was shortlisted for the Orwell Prize and the British Journalism Awards in 2017 and she is a co-founder of the women’s journalism network Second Source, which was created in the wake of the Harvey Weinstein scandal.
