Zillah Watson is a leading expert on virtual reality content and author of VR for News: The New Reality?, published by the Reuters Institute for the Study of Journalism. Her work has premiered at festivals around the world – including Tribeca Storyscapes, iDocs, Sheffield Documentary Festival and the Future of Storytelling Festival.  She leads on innovative approaches to digital storytelling, including pioneering 360 storytelling for BBC News and creating the BBC’s first VR story experiences. She’s developed relevant and practical approaches to transferring emerging technologies into TV, radio and web production. Other recent work has ranged from creating a story database for the longest running soap opera in the world to pioneering work in digital on-line media archives.
